Comm100 X Upgrade - Agent and Visitor SSO Reconfiguration

Introduction

Comm100 provides you with Agent SSO and Visitor SSO features. If you are currently using either, you will need to reconfigure your integration after your upgrade to the new Comm100 X platform. You may experience trouble logging in, get some error, and cannot use the SSO feature if you do not reconfigure after upgrade to the Comm100 X platform.

Read on to learn how to reconfigure SSO integration:

Agent SSO (Single Sign-On)

Comm100 Agent SSO allows your agents to have a single login across Comm100 and other applications. You only need to log in once to move securely between Comm100 and other applications without the need to log into separate accounts or remember multiple usernames and passwords.

Note: This feature is only available with our Enterprise plan.

Configuring Agent SSO

Comm100 supports Agent SSO via SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) andJWT (JSON Web Token) standard. The configuration details for both standards vary.

To learn more about setting up Agent SSO with SAML, see How to enable SAML SSO (Single Sign-On) for agents to log into Comm100 account?

To learn more about setting up Agent SSO with JWT, see How to enable JWT SSO (Single Sign-On) for agents to log into Comm100 account?

Visitor SSO (Single Sign-On)

The visitor SSO feature enables you to capture your visitor's personal and account information and synchronize them to your Comm100 Live Chat account before a chat starts.

Customers who want to access help through Live Chat can authenticate themselves prior to chatting by logging into their accounts. If they are already logged in elsewhere, they will be able to chat with agents immediately. Reconfigure the feature post upgrading to the Comm100 X platform to keep using it.

Note: This feature is only available with our Enterprise plan.
